“Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.”
1 John 3:18
“Ministering to the whole person, mind, body and soul!”
- Congregational Care exists to come alongside those in seasons of sorrow, sickness, setbacks and in need of resources and assistance. This shows up in several ways and range from, “The Village,” to healing circles and referrals.
- Compassionate care is administered through helps and counseling for those in hard times, to fellowship for the retired and elderly and training and support for those who are caring for loved ones who are sick or disabled and topic specific education.
- Grounded in the principles of Strength, Support and Sanctuary, CCM seeks to provide care and support to our members as we carry out our call “to be the hands and feet of Jesus” by loving others through caring services as we meet the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of our church family.
- We take joy in ministering to those who are grieving, joining them in their immediate sorrow and following up with them after their loss, and will create safe spaces for healing and recovery for those in need!
- Some of the areas of care and support focus include healing and recovery care; Senior Care; end of life planning; bereavement, grief and loss groups; assessments and referrals to community resources; and support and care for those members of our congregation who serve as caregivers to loved ones. CCM partners with the existing ministries of the church to provide an extra, complimenting layer of support to meet the psychosocial, emotional and physical needs of the members and families of Destiny of Faith Church and the surrounding community.
